  • Travel to research and develop upcoming trends pertaining to the line
  • Determine design direction of the brand each season
  • Create silhouettes, textiles, and graphics
  • Design and layout garment and packaging labels
  • Draw and digitally paint models for fashion and presentation boards
  • Create design layout for line sheets
  • Design seasonal catalogue
  • Prepare each design to be sent to manufacturing mills overseas
  • Periodically meet with sales team for line modifications and finalizations

  • Merchandise color schemes and teams

    Designer for product development/manufacturing company. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Designing both Men’s and Women’s apparel/footwear
  • Interact directly with clients and personnel in design development
  • Design, conceptualize, and layout a full range of products, textiles, accessories, etc.

    Illustrated full color drawings initiated from Children’s manuscripts. Responsibilities included the following:

  • Review full length manuscripts and devise full color illustrations
  • Apply art programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to finalize original sketch

    Designed quarterly periodical cover. Responsibilities included the following:

  • Research and explore the periodical’s core audience in design procedure
  • Work directly with editor from initial design to final product

    Designed avant-garde footwear which fascinates and grabs the individualized audiences’ attention. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Predict, as well as research and investigate trends in footwear at time of design conception
  • Convert flat sketch drawings into full color design through Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
